the straight edges technique on alphas

So I just finished a alpha bracelet that I used the straight edges technique on. And the edges aren’t the whole way straight, am I doing something wrong?

While the straight edges technique does help you maintain straight edges on an alpha, it takes practice to get it just right. If you still feel like you did something wrong, It is simply forward backward knots on the right and backward forward on the left. I would suggest watching a YouTube video on the subject.

it also helps to have completely even tension throughout the whole bracelet. i have a lot of trouble sometimes with my tension on alphas and i find that even if i use the straight edges technique on an alpha my edges can be pretty wonky. but yeah just practice keeping even tension in mind and your edges will improve!

@ABbracelets It definitely helps to make sure your string is the same thickness and that your knots are relatively the same size.
