about how long should i make the “bracelet part” of a cat collar? i’m using paracord buckles as a fastener. (both of my cats are average sized)

I would say just periodically measure around your cats neck but don't pull it to be too tight while measuring

A wingspan length is a pretty good estimate. This might sound a bit stupid, but please just make sure that your cats don't get it off and bite or try-and swallow it because it can cause serious harm. I think it's a great idea but please be careful! 🙂

i like to make mine adjustable with a tri glide slide. it helps if you cat is still growing or if they gain/ lose weight. i try to keep on on hand that i can reference when sewing the cat collar down on the slide / buckle, but i find they turn out really nice. you can also purchase break away collars on amazon for pretty cheep. i found some wiht little cats on them 🙂
