How the heck do you make bracelets adjustable?

@Lilykagr Ok so place the bracelet on a table and overlap the end strings so that its a circle shape. Tie an extra string around the 2 bracelets and knot them. After that, I'm not sure what the knot you do is called but make a loop with one string and use the other string to go over that and out through the little loop you made. I hope that was clear but if not, ik there are some tutorials on youtube and tik tok on how to do it.
