Recently I was working on an Aladdin bracelet and I pulled one of the background strings too tight and POP, there went the string. It broke it off really short. Are there any tips on how to fix this?? 😭 🙁

hi there, is it long enough to tie in another string?

Yes I was able to fix it 🙂 I just made a little loop and tied a knot around it and tied it back on 🙂 Thank you

sometimes I use clear nail polish and coat the strings. I do this so the strings don't seperate but it might help with your situation too. The nail polish will come off.

I mean the nail polish will come off AFTER your finished with it so your bracelet won't be crispy

You're probably using Prism. I suggest Iris or DMC... Just saying 🙂 😘

You also may be pulling too hard. I have found that if you pull softly and tighten it up as you push the knot up with your fingernail if it is loose. 🙂 Good Luck!

On my first alpha, all of my strings were waaaay to short, so I had to tie new strings on to the ends. Like gymnastix said, nail polish works if you put it on the knot connecting the short or broken string to the extension string. You can see a photo of my alpha-it's pattern #3328 by user catwarner.
