So when I make alpha patterns like #26406 the part with the added string the top of the cats head (and on #28082 with the bottom of gary) isnt really connected to the rest of the bracelet, the whole section of knots can come up. Idk how to prevent this.

The disconnection tends to happen with alphas like those, so I don’t know if you can really prevent that. However, if you don’t want it to pop up, try tying your knots slightly looser/more carefully on the parts that are less connected so there’s space for the bracelet to lie flat. Hope that makes sense 🙂

Do you mean, it pops up and is bumpy? If so, tying looser will help (try find a happy medium between loose and tight for Alpha's). Also, are you using the 'flat alpha technique?' That will prevent this from happening too.

In 26406 the gap between the rows 17 and26 does appear. It can be avoided by using the flat alpha technique.Hope this helps.
