How long do you make your bracelets, not including the loop or ties or whatever? Thanks!!! Even if you don't specifically measure, what's your average length? 👍

@Logiek5 Thanks! That's what I generally do, but I want to start selling my bracelets, so I just wanted them to be more consistent and fit more people. Thanks for responding!

You can also make them adjustable

@Logiek5 yeah, I thought about it, but I'd rather just make them normally and maybe have an option where they can request it be adjustable if possible. If that makes sense?

If you were selling them I would do maybe a small size of about 6.5-7 inches not including ties or loop then a large size of 7.5-8 inches. That variability is based on how the pattern ends up being. But that way they aren't too long for people with small wrists and arent too short for people with larger wrists.

You can measure how big your wrist is and maybe also measure the wrist of family members. That way you'd know how long it needs to be. You could offer two or three different length. You could also look at which length other shops offer. |

@Haka_yt I have tiny wrists, so I make mine about 5 inches long (including loop) with about 3 inches of ties. If I do ties on both side, 5 inches of pattern and 1 1/2 to 2 inches of ties on either side. I have noticed that it’s hard to find smaller bracelets, so you may want to consider offering in the listing details that you can make it smaller/larger if necessary.

15cm, with ties that are 12cm long! That seems to be working well for people who buy my bracelets so far. They can adjust it to the width of their wrists from 15cm to 20cm which is about average range for a woman, but can be too small for men.

I agree with what other people are saying about offering multiple sizes, but you can also just measure around your wrist. I’d say it’s better a little too small for some people than too big for others, as it’s difficult to tie on a bracelet that’s too long. 😊

Not sure if this helps or if you still need help but I’ve found that about 120 rows of knots is about what works for me so I knot about that much.

I make me bracelets 14-15 cm long without loops and ties. does anyone know how long to cut the strings. I always end up with a lot of excess and I feel like I’m wasting a lot of string.

I sometimes do my bracelets like 14 or 15 cm. Always depend the person. And if you are running out of base string and you don't want to add more string you do a braid or you put something to connect the 2 parts of the bracelet
