I have made #14051 but added extra lines to slightly change the shape. Problem is, its now way too long for its intended use. I have started it with 'lark head knots' so it cant be a bracelet as it doesn't have a loop at the beginning. The direction of the image should be horizontal but it would be vertical using the Larks knots as the start so not a usable wall hanging? I have done it so its colour changes are hidden so it looks tidy on both sides. Any ideas what to do as im stuck? Thank you. |

Thank you, that is an option. I just don't read anymore, I find it satisfying to listen to an audiobook whist I knot ironically! Thank you.

Hello! When I Finnish an alpha bracelet could I just cut all the leftover strings in the back, or will they come undone? Has anyone’s ever come undone before? 😁

@Ari131313 You can cut them, I'll cut them! If it's a wall hanging, you don't need to put anything special on it because it's going to stay still, but if it's a bracelet, keychain, etc., I recommend putting a little bit of transparent nail polish on it I saw they use it a lot, or depending on the type of thread you use, sometimes you can burn it a little with a lighter i make this but it deppend in the string! Or maybe some strong glue? I mean, after cutting it, I recommend putting some of this on it so it's strong, but I still don't think it'll come loose and the knot will unravel; it's complicated, but just in case... 😄
