Running out of background string

So I'm doing pattern #34431 and I'm running out of the background. It's a pattern for my brother but I use string from a random Amazon package and it was a huge pack. How do I make the string last? Should I just buy more? I'm about halfway done with the bracelet.

Buy more or restart it with a colour that you have more of

@martha9999 When I'm using a lot of one color (as in the background of an alpha), I always make sure that I have at least two skeins of that color. There's really no way to prevent running out besides making sure you're well-stocked. Typically, if I want the pattern's background to be a certain color, but I'm low or don't have at least one full skein of that color, I just change the pattern variation so that I'm using a color I have an abundance of.

I would look for another color you have and just do it, it will look nice! and to look cooler, you can change the yellow colors maybe to other shades if you have different shades of yellows, to make it look cool!I made #44004 changing the colors because when I made it I only had bits of colors left so I made it as you can see in my photo and it was also for my brother!! 😄 |
