Elongated bracelets?

Hii so everytime I make an alpha it seems like elongated? I’m not sure how to explain it but the design looks stretched out and i can’t seem to figure out why?? it’s really frustrating so if anyone knows how to fix it please let me know!

That's a very common issue that's been asked about many many times before. The usual recommendations are: - thicker base strings/doubled up base strings - making your knots less tight - pushing the rows up using a rule - skipping some rows |

I struggled with that for a long time! The two things that helped me most: 1. Loosening my knots 2. Pushing them up with a ruler to make them more square if making alphas. |

I also fould this:If you design a new pattern from a picture, reduce it to 75% but only in the one direction, so when you knot it, it will look like "normal length". |
