Hi all, I have seen a few photos where the bracelet was started on a ladder buckle and ended in a triangle but without strings sticking out. Like so https://media.braceletbookcdn.com/photos/000/000/240/012/000000240012/image.jpgI would love to try this because my daughter has to removed her bracelets for swim class twice a week. I am clear on the buckle start, but I can’t figure out how to end without the strings. Just cut them off and glue them to the back? Any ideas would be much appreciated. Thanks so much. |

Have you tried reaching out to the person who posted the photo? Maybe they can help you.I don't know how to do this buckle, but here are some tutorials that might also be useful https://www.braceletbook.com/tutorials/166_guide-adding-a-buckle-to-your-bracelet/ https://www.braceletbook.com/tutorials/67_adding-paracord-buckles-to-friendship-bracelets/ If you want an easy way for your daughter to take the bracelet on and off, you could also use crimp ends. A closure with buttons might also be an option. My own bracelets all have ties that I use to close the bracelets. Usually I don't even untie the ties when taking the bracelets on or off. With a little bit of effort I can slide the bracelets over my hand. They are still tight enough to not slide off on their own. |

You could also do adjustable length ends, with braids and a few square knots holding them together. I change my bracelets everyday and it works great ! If you really want that method, I'd do triangle ends, but 2-3 knots after I've started hiding a string, I'd cut it off (I already do that when I have more than 12 strings, I know that works well). Then you'd only have 4 strings at the end and you could use en embroidery needle to insert them in the opposite triangle end. If you're scared it'll come off, you can use a bit of glue |

Ah thank you so much. That is brilliant. I will try different adjustable versions, but live the idea of inserting with the embroidery needle. Thanks all! |
