Clean Back Alpha Issues

I have this problem that whenever I knot a bracelet using the clean back alpha technique, the individual knots don’t look like individual knots. I think it’s the thread inside, but it just looks like one long row, and there are no bumps to indicate the individual knots. Has anyone experienced this before? If so, any tips? Thanks!

This is how the back of knots always looks. You can check in your "regular" normal or alpha bracelets.

@halokiwi I meant on the front. Normally it looks like little “beads” I guess but when I do clean back it’s just a straight line.

Does the 'back' now look like your 'front' would usually look (or the other way around)?

In your photo of #162734 the front is on the left and the back is on the right. Both sides to me look completely normal.

@halokiwi i think she means it's hard to see the individual knots going across in the same way that you can see them going up and down on the front

I think that’s because you’re feeding the string through almost every knot, so it takes up more space, resulting in larger knots. I took a look at your photo and it only seemed to look like a straight line in the green part, which is where you’re feeding the white string through. When I made a clean back it looked like that for me too, I think it’s just normal for it to do that 😄

@halokiwi Yes, that’s what I mean. It just looks like a straight row going horizontally instead of little knots.

@str6yk1ds Ok, because I wasn’t sure if it was normal or if I was doing something wrong 😅
