Hi! I don’t know if anyone else experiences this problem, but if I have white base strings, they look dingy after I cut them off of the bracelet after finishing it. Does anyone know how to prevent this and/or re-whiten them?

@maxbraclet Thanks for the suggestion but for alphas, you have to use the same brand of string, and I already have a collection of all DMC.

Yeah I’ve had that problem too in the past. I haven’t done anything to try to re whiten them but maybe you could try soap and water? Try using soap that’s made for fabric so you don’t risk ruining your thread, or you could do some research and find soap that works well with DMC. Hope this helps! ♥️♥️

Also, try not to get it on your hardware, you could use an old toothbrush for more precise washing ♥️

@str6yk1ds Thanks, but I’ve already tried that and it didn’t work very well
