Does anyone know how to make a straight edge at the end of a keychain without any strings. I know how to make them at the top but I can’t find anything about the bottom?

I think the simplest way is just cutting the base strings and gluing them onto the back, or maybe cutting and using a lighter to melt them short (this only works on certain threads so be wary)
