How long do you make your bracelets?

Hi guys,I have been asking myself how long you guys make your bracelets, especially when you make them as a present for your friends. Do you ask them how long they need to be (circumfence of their wrist) or do you knot about 15 cm (100 rows) and add the ties? Thanks emp |

I tie about fourteen cm plus ties. If you ask someone for their wrist circumference, you can no longer surprise them fully by making a bracelet for them 😉 but if it is not a surprise, it seems reasonable to ask them.If you don't know the wrist size of a person, I recommend making a bracelet that would fit a small wrist. This bracelet will also fit a big wrist, if the ties are long enough. But a bracelet that would fit a big wrist perfectly would be too long for a small wrist and could not be worn. |

Of course that's true... I just don't like when the knotted part is too short. I fear it would not look good enough.
