hey I’m elliot and so my problem is that whenever I print out a patterI do the pattern and I do it correctly and then take a look at the pictures on BraceletBook like I look at the comments that stuff in the photos and it doesn’t look anything like what I did. (I used text to speech lol)

I recommend posting some photos of the bracelets you made or temporarily setting a photo of them as your profile picture, so it is easier to determine, what you might be doing wrong.

You might not actually be doing something wrong, but that's only possible to say, if we know what you are doing 😉

Which patterns did you try? Some patterns are not meant to be tied the way that it's shown in the pattern. Maybe it was a pattern like that.

okay. Well I tried #112767 and I thought I was doing good, right? Then it looked absolutely nothing like the pictures.

Can you describe how it looked different from the picture?

Sorry to butt in, but some ways to keep your bracelets neat are to use the straight edges technique (https://www.braceletbook.com/tutorials/101_the-straight-edges-technique/) and maintain the same tightness in your knots. If some knots are very loose while others are tighter, your bracelet may look less cohesive.

Did you use four colours like in the pattern or did you use less colours? If you used less colours, the separation between the two halves might not be as clear.

If you used four colours, you might perhaps have done some knots wrong and the strings got to places where they weren't supposed to go 😉

Could you set a photo as your profile picture temporarily, so I can see?

Yes I did. I did the knots right I’m almost positive. And I don’t have one. Also I can’t rn

Maybe you could at a later point, because I personally can't help you like this. Maybe someone else has magical vision and can 😉

If you did all the knots right, all the knots should be in the right places and there should be a separation visible.
