When I make alphas (even when using the flat alpha technique) they end up being kind of bumpy because of all the color changes. I think the string in the back from color changes makes it weird. How do I keep them flatter?I hope I’m explaining this right I’m not sure how else to describe it 😅 |

You could try doing the flat alpha technique before AND after each color change. I think that would anchor it more to the project and maybe don’t pull as hard when tying the knot with the new color. Hope this helps! 🩵

Sometimes when the pattern has a lot of color (switched),it’s bumpier. So, sometimes, i clean more often and proprely the back of the alpha. I don’t know if it makes sense, english is not my first langage.

Yes this happens to me a lot I recommend cutting some of the string drag on the back in that area and the push with your fingers on the bumpy area that should help flatten it out. 🙂
