Has anyone here used yarn to tie a bracelet pattern to make it bigger? i'm thinking of making pattern #139048 with yarn to make a bigger wall hanging, just wondering if anyone's tried it and if they have tips if they have!

I've tried it and it definitely gets a lot bulkier! However, keep in mind that while it gets wider, it also gets thicker, which is why I don't love using yarn. It can be quite fun though! My main tips would be to keep a steady knot tension and keep the yarn clean.

yeah i imagine it would get pretty big in all dimensions lol, my main concern right now is thinking about a way to anchor the end while i work on it, would probably need a clamp or something?

I don't have good thread for making bracelets 😪 I kinda still need to buy it so I use yarn.But along as you don't do alphas it works because if you do alpha it gets a lot longer or something. If you don't understand me just look at the pictures that I made. But it still works |

@featherfae I recommend a large binder clip or two, or a clipboard. That way your project will be securely anchored. Make sure to tuck the already-knotted part under the back of the clip.
