Alpha Knots Looking Weird

My alpha knots (I just started) are looking like diagonal lines, which isn’t helping me make a distinct pattern shape. Any tips would be appreciated Note: this is only happening to the string that isn’t the main leading string (black background, colourful one is the problem) Thanks! |

After you finish each row, try using a ruler or another straight edge to push all the knots in the row up. That way you’ll have a straight row. Hope this helps! 😊
