I’m currently making the mini starburst and my strings keep getting tangled because they are so long. How can I fix this?

You can wrap your strings around bobbins or pieces of cardboard while you're working with them. Start with the end not connected to the bracelet.

If you are segment knotting, you only need to untangle the string you are currently tying with. It's alright, if the other strings are tangled a little.

Try to spread out your strings. It’s helpful to separate the strings into 2 or 3 sections. I recently did #51886 (24 strings) and I had the strings on the two halves of the bracelet never touching unless I needed to make a knot in the middle. Sort of like making two bracelets next to each other. This helps for no tangles, and also makes segment knotting big patterns a bit easier.

@bamboozled Thanks for the advice! That’s what I’ve been doing recently and it seems to work.
