How do you clean bracelets?

I gifted a friend of mine a bracelet awhile ago, and my friend just asked about how to clean it and I realized I don’t think I’ve ever actually cleaned my bracelets. How do y’all clean them if you do?

when they get really dirty I use a soft toothbrush and scrub them but soap

I would reccomend dish soap, warm water, and a toothbrush. Be gentle with the toothbrush as to not mess up the knots and then let it air dry. Hope this helped!
