How many strings on a keychain

How many strings can fit on a 3/4 inch d ring keychain? I ordered some a few days ago and I’m still waiting for them to arrive. I want an idea of how big I can make them.

For me the most I can fit is 20, (10 In half) other wise it looks a bit weird If i do more.

It depends on the threads. I can fit 20 (10 folded) strings of dmc Petra size 5 on a 1 inch d ring but I can fit about 24 (12 folded) of aunt lydias crochet thread size 3

I use 18-20 strings on a 25 mm keychain.
