Alpha pattern - switch layout

Hi all,So I am planning on starting to make alphas but I can't figure out how to switch the layout. Example is the pattern https://www.braceletbook.com/patterns/alpha/13905/ The duck on the pattern is vertical, but i wish to have it horizontal (like on the added pic to the pattern). I hope i make sense and there will be someone to help me out! Thanks a bunch! |

You have to tie it based on the grid then, instead of based on the knotting instruction. For the knotting instructions the least amount of base strings is always picked and you can't change that.
