Odd Color Combo tied to D Ring

Hi, in a pattern that is not symmetrical, how do you tie the colors them to a d ring in order to make smth like a keychain? do you have links to a tutorial or can somebody explain it to me? havent found anything thank you for helping me |

You can split embroidery floss to have three strands instead of six strands. You can then tie a thread of three strands to the D-ring using a larks head knot. Both ends of that string will have six strands and you can use them as one thread of six strands.

ok so what do I do if there are 14 base strings and 1 leading string? Like how do I attach the leading string??? btw I'm making pattern #47765

Omg I hate when this happens. I would recommend watching some youtube videos as they often have several methods you can try. My favourite is to leave the last string super long and use that to start the pattern. This does kind of suck since you would need to use the same colours as the base colour
