is there a general consensus for how many rows make up a good sized bracelet for the average adult?

i know knot sizes vary, but since i want to do more alphas, i need to plan out my length before hand, so i was wondering if there was a range that just works generally. someone once told me that anywhere between 70 and 100 rows was a good bracelet size but i’m unsure. please send help

For me an alpha with about 85 rows fits well 🙂

I usually do about 70 to 90 for average sized adult wrists. I can personally wear all of those lengths on my wrist just fine. That being said, there is also a lot of wiggle room depending on how long you leave the ties. I keep my base strings pretty long when I initially cut them so it could fit as a bracelet on most wrist sizes or as an anklet.

I just realized that most of my friends have tiny wrists because I usually only do around 70-75 rows, and then have some few friends who actually possess arm muscles for whom I make around 100.
