if your going to sell or give away bracelets how long should you make them?

I want to start giving away ajustable bracelets but don’t know how long to make the bracelet to ensure they fit everyone. What’s the universal size for bracelets?

I think 6-6.5 inches should be fine for everyone. However if you are making for kids you might want to shorten the length

Also a few normal patterns like chevron ones stretch a bit with usage so keep that in mind while making it. For being sure whether it will stretch or not, you can make about 2 inches and try to stretch it

I think that anywhere from 5.5-6 inches is fine. Everyone's wrist size is different so it may be a good idea to make different sizes. But if it's adjustable, I think it should be fine if it's a little short, better than being a little too long.

i’ve found making several different sizes is best! if the bracelet is not for myself or anyone specific i just go with the pattern and end at a good point, or i just do a random length if it’s a short pattern. i’ve been able to give bracelets to all my friends with all different sized wrists and it’s been especially great to have been able to give some to my friends with bigger or smaller than average wrists who struggle to find handmade jewellery that fits them 🙂

I recently started selling my bracelets, and people would actually ask for full refunds because I made them too small. But, the past couple weeks, I've been trying a new technique to make a bracelets adjustable. Basically, I make braids on either end of the bracelet. (These are usually 3.5-4 inches long.) Then, I make 4.5-5 inches of actual knots. Then, I make a square knot around both of the braids. This allows the bracelet to be super adjustable, and it will fit little kids and even adults with big wrists!
