How to do color switching without it showing up in the next two knots?

So when i do a knot with a color and then switch over to another color it looks like this: ⚫️⚫️⚪️’⚪️like there’s a little dot of previous color in between the next colors please tell me how to get rid of this dot cause it’s on all my bracelets if you want a good example look at the monkey bracelet on my profile |

Hi! This is a normal thing that happens to alphas, and the only thing you can do is to pull a little more the old string in the back. But notice that you don't need to pull very hard. Any other tips than practice I don't know. And, don't worry, it happens this thing to more bracelet makers (including me). (: |
