So I’ve noticed that any bracelet I make that has a significant amount of forward backwards knots (like the fishbone chevron) tend to curl up. Any suggestions? Thanks guys!

Really watch your tension while you knot.

Generally that’s what will cause those types of things. Sorry, hit send before I intended to 😂

Watch your tension. I find that changing the angle I am at really helps. Make sure you are double knotting. Back when I was young my bracelets rolled but I only did one knot. Make sure you do two!! Use the straight edges technique (Masha knots has the video) You can sort of block bracelets (flatten/stretch) like you would block something that was crocheted/knitted but it doesn't work as well. There are plenty of videos online about blocking. |

Watch tension, and you can also iron your bracelet for extra de-curling

If the straight edges isn’t keeping it flat, keep trying your best! Once you have finished the bracelet, use a hair straightener to flatten the bracelet. But make sure to put the bracelet between a thin towel if your string is a type that will melt.
