When can I segment knot?(or v sharp knot)

With 1 2 patterns, are you able to segment knot in the shape of a v similar to a chevron? Bc mine have been turning out weird.

Theoretically you can follow a v-shape or a diagonal line when knotting any normal pattern. Due to the structure of normal patterns this is possible for all normal patterns.Segment-knotting usually refers to knotting in a v-shape or diagonals, when there are visible v-shapes or diagonals in the pattern. For 1212 patterns it is usually recommended to knot in horizontal rows one row after the other. |
