Teardrop Loop Help

Hello all!Today I tried doing my very first teardrop loop with a pattern that had 10 strings/6 colours. The problem came when I finished the loop but the pattern didn't start with a chevron so I wasn't sure at all how to get the knots to the point where it'd be a straight line across, if that makes sense. The pattern is #83905 if anyone has already done it or something similar and has any advice for starting it. Thanks! |

To make a teardrop loop in a normal pattern with no chevron in it, you still have to start with a v-shape. You can start with the v-shape at any random point in the pattern. Due to the structure of normal patterns, you can make a shaped start anywhere in the pattern, even if there is no chevron visible in the pattern.
