every time i make an alpha i use the straight edge technique, but for some reason although it looks great on the left, the right side is always a little wonky (if you look at my profile you can see some examples). does anyone know how i can fix this? is it a tension problem? or the direction i pull my knots?

I'm pretty sure that's just the tension, some of mine do that too. To stop it from being wonky just try to keep the same tension on each of the knots! 😊

Try to pull the leading string more towards the right when making the first half of the fb knot and not as much up. After making the knots on the right edge, you can also manually twist them a little to lay as flat as the ones on the left side.

@dracula @halokiwi thank you so much! i’ll be sure to try both at the same time and hopefully it looks a little more even
