You can start wherever you like, it doesn’t really matter with this pattern. I’d use some of the photos of this pattern to give you ideas of where to start. Hope that helps

Since the pattern is just 2 rows that repeat again and again, you can start in any row you like. Many people think that you can only make triangle ends or teardrop loops where the pattern naturally forms a triangle, but that is not true. You can make your triangle start at any point of the pattern because all normal patterns have the same base structure. In this pattern for a triangle end, due to the pattern being symmetrical, I recommend the central knot of any odd row. If you want to make a two triangle ends that are connected with a loop (a tearddrop loop) I'd recommend any point where there is a change of knotting direction to further accentuate that. |
