For this pattern #100890 and if you can find my picture (noah_surf)(it should be the newest one) above the monkeys head you can see two black strings that got caught in the border, im wondering how to make it so that it’s not peaking through. I do the foreword backward(backward foreword) technique, any idea what to do? Thanks

It looks like you're using the straight-edge technique along with the Flat alpha technique (when you hide the previous string through the center of the following knot) right? But when that knot is on the edge, instead of bringing the previous string all the way through like normal, you need to bring that string down and pair it with the base string. For example, at the end of row 33 make the first half of the last white FB knot, hold the black string downward together with the base string, then make the last half of the FB knot around both strings. Next row, make the first half FB knot around both strings again, release the black string to be used next, then make the last half around the base string only. Doing it that way will keep the the previous string from poking to the outside and becoming visible when it goes down to the next row because now it goes down to the next row on the "inside." Hope that makes sense! 😄 |

And just to make sure, I would only do this toward the edges, and if the color switch is in the middle of the bracelet I can use the the flat alpha technique. Thanks again

Yes, you'd only do this for colour switches at the edges 🙂 for the rest of them you can do the flat alpha colour switch.
