i just started getting into alphas but ive been making bracelets for 4 years and i cant figure out how to make my smaller alphas not slant or curl, idk if my knots are to tight or im switching colors wrong but they always look weird

Since you haven't posted any pictures, it's not possible for someone else to say what you might be doing wrong. The ideas you had all seem like they could be true. I recommend to experiment with these things a little to see what will work for you 🙂

if you are using two differ brands of string one could be thicker than the other and your bracelet could warp
