straight edge for alphas

Hey guys! I have been doing alphas for a while and am starting with one after my bracelet slump. However, how do I go about getting the same result for left and right side for straight edge technique? My forward backward knots look sloppier than backward forward and i cannot get why! Been trying lots of different tightness and knotting technique but cant figure it out. Feel free to look at my photos if there are examples there. Thanks!

Unless you look really closely you can't really see a difference. Maybe try pulling the base string downwards? I'm not entirely sure what else to try if adjusting tension hasn't help. Good luck!

Maybe it is due to the angle you pull your leading string at while knotting. Try to pay attention to that.You can also try to manipulate the edge knots a little and twist them after making them. |
