Changing some of the knots to make the pattern more balanced could be helpful. Certain knots can be changed without altering the pattern, such as if two strings of the same color make up a knot (SCS knots = same color string knots) you can change an SCS knot to any knot type and it won't change the pattern. Making a bracelet as balanced as possible helps to keep it straight. So if say there's many f knots, if you can change half of them to b knots without changing the pattern, that could help.

In the bracelet you made, the knot instructions show many f knots, but not a lot of b knots (15 f knots, and only 3 b knots) If you could change quite a few of those blue SCS knots to b knots, that could help a lot 🙂

Using the "straight edge" technique can also help a lot. If you look up the "straight edge technique", you can find tutorials about it. This can be achieved by adding one more string on either side of the bracelet and adding one bf knot as the first knot, and one fb knot as the last knot, to every row that is an even number.

i used pattern #23555 and i’m not sure if that technique would work just because the edges have so many colors, and others posted pictures with the same type of curves mine came out with

You can apply the straight edges technique to any normal pattern. Here is a tutorial:

My other advice is to pull the bracelet down and not to the sides while knotting and to secure the bracelet close to where you are knotting so it can't move around a lot.

Ahh okay, I was assuming you were referring to the bracelet in the photo on your profile, I shouldn't have assumed 🙈

@ halokiwi's advice above really helps, about the tape and directional pull of each knot 🙂

straight edges technique is the best way, but i also find making my knots a lot looser helps with this! if you know the bracelet with tight knots, they tend to curve or bend based on which way the knots go. if you make the knots more loose it sometimes bends a little bit but you can stretch it out at the end and it usually fixes itself 🙂 and also similar to what halokiwi said above, instead of pulling the knots/bracelet to the side, pull them up or down
