Have you guys tried making a necklace/choker instead of the usual bracelet using the patterns here? I think it's a great idea for me to try something out of the usual and making a necklace using the threads that I have here came into my mind. If someone have tried doing so, can you guys give me some tips, tutorials, or know hows?

I’ve never done one, but it sounds really cool. It would just take a long time

I haven't done a necklace or choker but I have done a handle/rope thing for a cane, for my aunt at the time so she could hang it up on coathangers and so she could have it around her wrist while walking. It was 2-3 times the length of a regular bracelet! The only annoying thing was keeping the strings untangled, since I made the strings so much longer, but one way you could fix that is keeping the strings a regular length and simply attaching more, like with a russian join or other method. For alphas I think it'd be a lot easier since you can just insert strings at any point, but its definitely doable with normals! Hope that helps 😛

I made a daisy chain choker for a friend last summer. It was about double or triple the normal length I usually do for a bracelet. Strings that long were a challenge to work with but it was manageable since there were just 6 of them. She really liked it, but she couldn't wear it for long periods of time on hot days because when she started sweating it itched her neck (that might be because I used cheap Amazon thread which was probably polyester, maybe cotton thread would've been better)
