Can someone help me how to make a double triangle start for pattern #49389 just like how @minutcraft did hers? I'm struggling with how to do the triangle part on both sides since it has an odd number of strings when you divide it into half.

I think @minutcraft has added one extra string on either side and used the straight edges technique. It seems she knotted with 20 instead of 18 strings which would eliminate your problem with making triangle ends with 9 strings. But if you want to make triangle ends with 9 strings, just make them a little lopsided, 4 strings on one edge and 5 on the other.

Wow, it’s been a while since I made that bracelet, so I can’t quite remember how I did it. Both the ‘lopsided triangle’ and ‘adding string for the straight edges technique’ that @halokiwi mentioned are within the realm of possible methods I might have used. Both would definitely work.

Judging from the single-colour starting loop and edge, I’d say it was probably the ‘adding strings for straight edges’ technique.

the lopsided technique actually looks rlly good if you do the 4 strings on the inside and the 5 strings on the outside! i use it for a lot of my bigger bracelets 🙂
