alpha base strings showing

i’m sorry if this has already been posted or if it’s a repetitive question, but i just started my first alpha and the base strings are showing through the knots. it’s pattern #19454, and i’m using white base strings so it shows a lot. i was just wondering if there’s a way to make it not happen? thank you in advance 🙂

You could try pushing the knots up with your fingernail so they are tight against the knots above it, a ruler also helps to push them up if you haven't got any nails. 🙂

Also, if you have a lot of the background/main color,you can use those as your base strings 😛

This happens to me sometimes and I fix it by pushing my knots up, I also think it might be from pulling your strings too tight. I do not know for sure though.

You might need to pull the first half of the knot tighter
