Hi!
I keep seeing a lot of round wallhanging patterns, like #61365 . Is it possible to make these as a shaped alpha so the white background in the example pattern would not be there at all? Or would that be too much string in too few knots, since the base strings would still stretch out on the dowel directly above the wallhanging itself?
Has someone done this? Do we have example photos of something like that?

Hi, it makes me think of this https://www.instagram.com/p/CjiZ3hVLHRw/?igshid=YmMyMTA2M2Y= from @knottyjules on IG
Maybe it helps?? I've never done that myself though 🙃

@KnotAdict Oh, just leaving the base strings out did not even occur to me! I was thinking along the lines of making knots on several of them so they are pulled in, but I don't think that's possible for circles. The one you linked however does look really cool and I think I might just go for that technique! (Or at least I'll try to...)
Thank you!!
