How should I start a keychain because I did a normal knot once and it ended up all weird and bent at the top 😭 😭

on a keychain i like to lark’s head knots for each set of 2 strings and go from there. i’ve tried it without a start and it also ended up a mess lol. hope this helps!

A loop and a shaped start also works well, especially if you are using a regular keyring and not a D-shaped keyring.
