How do you guys estimate how big to make you loops? i’ve been doing it with trial and error so far but i was wondering if anyone had like a mathematical way to figure out how many knots are needed in a loop for a specific size of bracelet

honestly this is kinda tricky. it helps me to bring the ends of the loop together after each couple of knots and then i can have a fairly good idea. happy knotting!

honestly just using trial and error works pretty well, but if you want you could probably count a certain number of knots you’ve made on the loop, for example 10, and measure how long that is, for example ___cm

I usually make my loop 20 knots if that helps 🙂 Might be a bit long so i'd say somewhere between 15-20 you should be good. As others said you can start with that and see if you want it bigger or smaller 🙂
