I was given a bunch of craft cord, and I normally work with embroidery floss. I don't really use it much, but I was wondering if I used them both in a normal would it come out weird? Probably sounds like a stupid question, but I figured that if someone else has tried it would save me the time trying. 😊

i have done that before, i personally like the look of just embroidery floss better, but it’s a personal choice. u really can’t tell when there’s different kinds of string in a bracelet if u didn’t know to look for it is what i’ve found. happy knotting!

I looked at images of craft cord. Some seems to be very different from embroidery floss while other seems very similar. I'd say it depends on how similar it is.I regularly mix dmc threadship and dmc petra in normals and it works well. Not the same combination as you plan to use, but just an example that different materials can work. |

Hello! I’m currently working on a few patterns with both craft cord and embroidery floss in the same bracelet and tbh it really doesn’t make a difference for me, but that can also depend on the pattern you’re making and the types of craft cord or embroidery floss you’re using and how they work with each other. If this doesn’t make sense let me know 😂 It’s just trial and error to figure out what threads work with what

@Rowsitt Understandable, I used it as base strings for the few alphas I made.
