i get painful dry indents in my fingers when making bracelets (only have this issue with normal patterns and not alphas for some reason). i assume it’s something to do with pulling too tight but idk how to fix it without making too loose knots. if anyone has tips i’d be forever grateful 😊

ohhh this happens to me too...i've had it before where the string has actually cut my skin. but what I started doing is wherever on my fingers the knot lands, I put some tape or something on it so that it can't even touch the skin

I used to have the same problem, but I just started to tie my knots looser and I was fine! I just got annoyed and taped my fingers 😂

If you don't like the tape (for me, the thread always got stuck on the tape, no matter how I tried), there are rubber thimbles with bumps on them for playing instruments like the Kalimba.Ironically, I cannot stand wearing them for playing the Kalimba, but for knotting they're perfect. |
