I noticed that whenever I do alpha bracelets/keychains, the knots come out too tall and it makes the bracelet look distorted and taller/longer than it should be. Does anyone know how to fix it or what I’m doing wrong?

I double my base strings so they are thicker than my leading strings and that always seems to work. You could also push each row up with a ruler or something.

making sure you’re knots are closer together after each row helps a ton! also your knot tension really makes a difference when it comes to the way a knot looks, the looser the knot the bigger and possibly taller it will be, and the tighter the knot the smaller and possibly distorted it could be. a good medium in between super tight and super loose knots might help with this, which takes time and practice. just know you will get better! anyway, yeah i would try moving your knots together as you go and this will help 🙂
