Tying alphas

Iโm trying to make my edges more straight and looker neater. Iโve tried the regular method from the pattern and forward backward knots but they still seem weird on the edges. Does anyone have any tips? Iโm also more on the newer side of alphas so any tips help!

Make sure that you do 2 bf or fb knots. One is the last knot of the previews row and the other one is the first knot of the next row. If you do only one, you are missing a knot and it won't look smooth.
