How long for Bracelet for Adult Male?

Hi everyone. how many rows do you think a bracelet for an adult male should be? i am making him an alpha bracelet for Christmas but am not sure how long to make it. my wrist is so much smaller than his...how many rows do you make if you have an adult male sized wrist? |

I think it would be most effective to measure his wrist and then calculate how many rows you need based on how long a certain amount of rows is for you, because 1) wrist sizes in adult males vary and 2) knot sizes vary due to material and knot tightness. I think there are too many variables.

I googled for the average wrist size of males and most sites give numbers around 7 to 8 inches. I hope that's helpful in any way.You could also try to somehow secretly measure his wrist size for example, if he wears a watch, you could measure the watch or you could put something around his wrist that you then measure. |

i made a bracelet for my brother, he’s only 15 but he’s 6ft tall and an athlete and i did approximately 17.5cm! (i went to around 17cm then finished off the repeating pattern which was another few rows)
