Strings far apart normal pattern

Hi, how do I fix the issue where the strings become far apart which means you see the colour and then the knot afterwards, this also leaves my bracelets to be extra stretchy, some help would be good, thanks.

I'm not sure what your issue is exactly. Is it that the knots are far apart and there is string visible between the knots/there are gaps between the knots? If yes, try to make the first half of the knot tighter/closer to the previous knots. The first half of the knot determines its placement, the second half secures it in place.
