How long would you cut your string?

Mmkay lemme break it down. Explain a little. I’m gonna start pattern 134343. Multicolored double start with an orange loop. I’d like the bracelet to be around 5.5 inches. How long would you cut your string to ensure that you wouldn’t worry about not having enough string?

I'm not sure exactly how long, but I recommend making the orange string longer than usual because you need more of it to make the loop.With the other colours I'd just cut what you usually cut, maybe a little longer. It's a little difficult to see, if a colour is used a lot more than another in this pattern, because this pattern is so complex, but I think they are all used about equally. If you run out of string, you can always extend the string using what Alex's Innovations' describes in her video on replacing broken string. |

I usually just cut them loooong. 90 inches or so and it seems like over kill but I’d rather have too much than. Not enough

I usually make my strings half an arm width. So, from my hand to the center of my chest. I always make my strings way too long lol
