I’ve wanted to get into wallhangings and I ordered some dowels. They are pretty thin and I was just wondering how y’all go about cutting them to fit the pattern you’re making.😊

I take scissors and cut around my wooden dowels tills theres a visible dent/mark. Then I bend the wood in half and it comes off. I don't atm but If I wanted to I could probably flatten the end with sandpaper.
