my alpha knots get curved, help

I just started making alphas and the knots aren't straight, they get like curved. what can I do?

Do you mean the rows aren’t straight? If so, try using your nail to push the knots up until it’s even.

and if you mean that the knots are slanted, try to make your knots looser and then push with a straight edge. it should make the knots a little bit rounder, but it’s kinda hard to find the right tension. at least for me
